It is a fascinating place to explore with impressive formations and an underground lake.
After this visit we continue to Orzola, a charming little fishing village on the north coast of Lanzarote. We visit the beautiful beach and go to the local fish restaurants. A nice break stop to relax and enjoy this nice village.
Near Orzola is Mirador del Rio, a viewpoint that has a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands, including La Graciosa. The viewpoint was redesigned by Cesar Manrique. This day is a great way to get to know the northern part of Lanzarote.

3| Through the grapes to the wine tasting
La Geria is a beautiful wine region located in the southern part of Lanzarote. It is known for its natural wine production, where the grape vines are planted in pits surrounded by crescent walls of volcanic rock. The hike on the program is a great way to explore this unique landscape. We will visit the oldest winery in the Canary Islands. You will have the opportunity to participate in the wine tasting, where you can taste different wines from the winery.
Duration: Half day, afternoon
4| Tour Timanfaya
The excursion to Timanfaya and El Golfo offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the island’s most impressive natural landscapes. We start at the Timanfaya National Park, which is located in the southwestern part of Lanzarote. This extraordinary natural area is known for its volcanic landscape, which is the result of major eruptions that took place between 1730 and 1736. One of the highlights of the tour is the ‘Ruta de los Volcanes’ (Route of the Volcanic Cones). This is a spectacular drive through the park where you drive past several volcanic cones and enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape. Along the way, a guide will tell you about the geological history of the area and the impact of the volcanic eruptions.
Another fascinating attraction in Timanfaya is the “Demonstration
Area” (Demonstration area), where you can witness the intense heat that is still under the surface. After exploring Timanfaya, the tour continues to El Golfo, a small fishing village on the west coast of Lanzarote. The village is known for its unique landscape, formed by the “Charco de los Clicos” (Green Lagoon). This lagoon, also known as the Green Crater, is a volcanic crater that has partially collapsed and is now filled with bright green sea water. The contrast between the green water, the black sand beaches and the rugged coastline is truly beautiful.
You can enjoy fresh seafood in one of the many restaurants along the coast. Duration: All day
5| Teguise Market
Teguise Market is one of the most famous and vibrant markets on the island. The market takes place on Sunday mornings and attracts both locals and tourists. Besides the many stalls with goods, the market is also a place where you can enjoy the local culture. There are often street performers performing, live music and traditional dances. The bustling and lively character of the market creates a nice and cozy atmosphere. There are also several food stalls and restaurants where you can enjoy local dishes and specialties. From traditional Canarian dishes to international delicacies, there is something for everyone.

Along the way you will pass traditional farms and colorful fields that reflect the rural character of the area.
After a while you reach the Mirador de Haria, a viewpoint that rewards you with a breathtaking panorama over the village and the green valleys. We take a moment here to enjoy the view and the peaceful surroundings. You then descend to El Bosco, an impressive cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
