The Volcano Tajogaite

September 19, 2021 marked a before and after on the island of La Palma. We visit the viewpoint at Tajuya Church, from where the volcano is best seen. Incredibly spectacular how this extraordinary force of nature has changed the physiognomy of the landscape after 84 days of intense activity. We then continue to a place as close as possible to the solidified lava and then towards Tazacorte, a small picturesque fishing port   Here we discover the  new lava strips that have formed on the coast From Llano de Jable there is a guided tour by specially trained guides along a new path specially created to get close to the volcanic cone of the Cumbre Vieja

During this light walk of about 2.5 hours, we see several control and measuring instruments that are still studying the process. We are amazed to see how the Canary Island pine has once again won the battle against catastrophes, in other words how this natural phenomenon has transformed the entire Aridane Valley. Discover a unique place, born from the depths of our island: the volcano of Cumbre Vieja.
