Hiking in Gran Canaria to the last laurel forest, the north side of Gran Canaria and the agriculture of Moya. Breathtaking nature and views of one of the most beautiful and greenest walks in Gran Canaria.
The last laurel forests of the north are like a prehistoric jungle and are located in the Doramas Natural Park.
Our walk begins with a descent through a dense gorge, continuing through fairytale landscapes, with fantastic views from the Virgin Valley, over the Camel Pass to the Zumacal Gorge, where we then take our lunch break.
Walking, admiring and enjoying the view of the unique world of endemic plants around us, we begin our ascent by walking through the laurel forest. Through a deep, lush gorge with huge eucalyptus trees we walk past lemon and orange groves back to the end point. In winter there is also the possibility to pick blackberries. One of the most beautiful walks in the Canary Islands. Unforgettable and unique, for the first time in our hiking program.
