FISHING VILLAGE AJUY
Ajuy is located on the west coast and is the oldest part of the island. The age is suspected based on fossils that formed part of the light-colored stone walls 35 million years ago. Once the island rose from the sea, so today you can admire these impressive rock formations.

THE ROCK GATE
There is a little known rock gate at the fishing village.

GOOD TO KNOW
The walk is divided into 2 stages. You are first in the canyon for about 1 hour and then drive 5 minutes to the coast. There it continues on foot for about 1.5 hours with the second leg.

• Guests from the north must provide their own transportation to the meeting point: Caracol Gas Station near Tarajalejo at 9:45AM.
