Make your way up to the Window of the Roque Nublo, with panoramic views of this natural giant and through the forests of Llanos de la Pez. This is one of the most beautiful hiking tours in Gran Canaria. Our hike begins at the Camping place of Llanos de la Pez, at 1.700Hm, where we will start with our slow ascent to the Ventana del Nublo. Through a thick pineforest with a lot of different vegetation we will soon reach the top of our ascent, being able to see from afar the Roque Nublo with breathtaking views of the neighboring island of Tenerife and Teide, at 3718m Spain’s highest mountain. The impressive views while trekking through this area are just breathtaking. Along an ancient “camino real” that we hike up, grow a variety of herbs and medicinal plants, about which we explain in detail. Arriving at the plateau below the Ventana del Nublo. During our walk in this region of Gran Canaria we will also be able to see Tejeda, a very famous tomato village with a lot of terrace agriculture systems. You can feel the absolute uniqueness of one of the most beautiful hikes of the Canary Islands. After our picnic, we continue our descent to finish again at the camping place of Llanos de la Pez, where we will be able to go to the WC’s and continue to have a drink together, in order to review all of the hiking day at the Ventana del Roque Nublo.
